I came to coaching after 40 years working in Luxury Fashion and Interior Design as a Management Consultant. Inspired by the amazing people I met, the struggles they encountered, the strength of human nature and our desire to have a purpose, I realised I could align these interests with my passion for personal growth. This inspired me to retrain as a Coach.

I’ve come to coaching after 40 years working in the creative sector; luxury fashion and interior design business management. I've managed projects for Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Donna Karen and Robin Guild amongst others. The most interesting and fulfilling area of my work was interacting with people. I always believed that the success of any project was anchored in empowering people to reach their full potential. In addition to their curiosity around how they could achieve job satisfaction, many of them had personal aims they struggled to achieve, for example changing career path, becoming more creative or feeling more in control of who they were or how they felt. I found I was instinctively able to lend an ear and support them to work towards their goals to good effect. As I approached my 60th birthday, I reflected on my legacy and the mark that I wanted to leave in this world and I realised that this skill should become the foundation of my own new journey and after some exploration and personal coaching I decided to become a Life Coach.
Coaching can be a pretty varied industry, therefore it was important to me was that I train under a regulated organisation and that I work towards an accreditation that would give my clients the confidence they deserved when choosing me as their coach. I researched and found the International Coaching Federation, the oldest and most respected organisation informing coaching practice and its practitioners.
I have since achieved Approved Professional Coach status with the ICF and in July 2022, I achieved full accreditation as Associate Certified Coach.
